The $10,000 Test

Disclaimer

Education, not advice.

The $10K Test (this website, the YouTube channel, the free email and any paid edition) is for education and entertainment. Nothing here is personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is an offer or a recommendation to buy or sell any security for you.

It's the same for everyone

Every reader and viewer gets the same content on the same schedule. We don't know your finances, goals or risk, and we don't give advice about them. Before you act on anything, think about your own situation and talk to a licensed professional who knows it.

Tests use the past

Our tests run popular advice through historical market data. Past results don't guarantee future results. Tests leave things out (usually fees and taxes, and sometimes other costs), and we say what was left out. Real results can be different, and you can lose money investing.

Our own money

JJ invests his own money and may own investments that are mentioned. He discloses what he owns that relates to a topic in each video and email. He doesn't sell a stock he has mentioned for 30 days after mentioning it, or he tells readers first. Nobody pays to be mentioned.

People and claims we test

When we test advice from a well-known person, we test the claim as it's usually stated and show the data. A verdict is about how the advice did in our test, not about the person.

Mistakes

We work hard to get every number right. If you find a mistake, reply to any email and we'll check it and correct it publicly.
